What is the pedCAT™ CT?

What Is a CT Scan?

A CT scan is an advanced imaging technique that allows doctors to see within the bones and create 3D images of the foot and ankle. Traditional X-rays are limited to 2D views. In contrast, CT images consist of thin “slices” that allow for precise visualization of the intricate structures within the bones and joints. These images can then be digitally assembled into a 3D image, enabling a far more accurate evaluation of the foot and ankle.

With this level of detail, doctors can better understand the exact relationship of the bones, leading to more accurate diagnoses and enhanced treatment planning.
